This place is great. I had a huge mold, mildew, rodent issue after leaving my car sit for months while I was away. Jameel was the ultimate professional and just all around good guy who found, removed, and remediated 3 rats nests. It was gross but the car came out as good as new. I highly recommend BusyBee.

OMG! I had the absolute BEST experience with Busy Bee, specifically Jameel and his team! I decided to get my windows tinted and I’m so happy with how they came out. Excellent experience with an interior and exterior detail of my SUV. I am quite particular when it comes to any service done to my car and have high standards. Jameel and his team did not disappoint. The quality of the work was excellent! I particularly appreciated that I could catch up on some work in the customer lounge while I waited. Jameel is very honest and professional. He tells you the truth and doesn’t try to oversell you. He did a great job repairing my paint and putting on a new ceramic coat, after the BS coat the dealership offered through Auto Armor failed. I have a numerous compliments on the paint job. I will be going back to see him again for my other cars.

I drove from Virginia, almost 3 hrs to get my car tinted to my home town. I found, Busy Bee Auto Spa, wow I was not disappointed. The greeting from the Asst Supervisor and the other tinter was so friendly and professional. The manager had stepped out but they showed me several samples. By the time the Manager arrived in about 15 -20 minutes. I knew what I wanted, I was very Impressed with his people skills, he was very down to earth and professional. Well the tinting was more than great, it was awesome 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽. I highly recommend this place 😎🤩🤩🤩.

Inspection & Quote

We inspect your paint, discuss expectations, and recommend the right coating based on how long you plan to keep your vehicle.

Wash & Decontamination

A full wash, iron removal, and clay treatment remove embedded contaminants so the coating bonds properly.

Paint Correction

Machine polishing removes swirls and restores clarity. This is where gloss is unlocked—and where shortcuts are never taken.

Ceramic Application

The coating is applied in controlled conditions to ensure even coverage, deep gloss, and durable protection.

Curing & Final Inspection

Proper cure time is allowed, followed by a final inspection to ensure the coating meets our standards before delivery.

The best detailer I have ever used. I wound up getting 4 vehicles done with ceramic coating of one. I wanted to coat a second one, but Jameel was honest enough to tell me to get the roof refinished first, and he is correct. When that is done, I will get him to ceramic coat my 15 year old MINI. Jameel and his assistant are very pleasant to deal with and the whole affair was problem free. Highly recommend and will use again!

How much does ceramic coating cost in Cockeysville?

Our System X® packages start at $899 for 3-Year Ceramic Protection, $1,300 for 6-Year Ceramic Protection, and $2,000 for our Lifetime Ceramic Coating. Your final price depends on vehicle size and how much paint correction your paint needs. We give you an exact quote after inspecting the vehicle.

How long does ceramic coating last?

It depends on the package. Choose 3-year protection for daily drivers and leased vehicles, 6-year protection (backed by a 6-year warranty) for long-term ownership, or our Lifetime coating, which is applied twice as thick and carries a lifetime warranty. Regular maintenance washes keep any coating performing at its best.

How long does the ceramic coating service take?

Most ceramic coating jobs take 1–2 days, depending on the size of the vehicle and how much paint correction is needed before the coating goes on.

Do I need paint correction before ceramic coating?

Yes, and it's built into every package. A coating locks in whatever finish is underneath, so the paint has to be right first. Our 3-year package includes a light machine polish, and our 6-year and Lifetime packages include scratch and swirl mark removal.

What parts of the car get coated?

Every package coats all painted surfaces plus the wheels, lights, trim, plastics and glass. Every package also includes CARFAX registration, which documents the protection when you sell or trade in the vehicle.

Do you offer mobile ceramic coating?

No. All ceramic coating is done inside our shop at 200 Warren Rd, Suite 301 in Cockeysville, where we control dust, temperature and lighting so the coating bonds and cures properly. You're welcome to wait in our customer lounge or drop the vehicle off.

Does ceramic coating protect against scratches?

Ceramic coating adds a hard protective layer and helps resist light swirls from washing, but it is not scratch-proof. For protection against rock chips and deeper scratches, ask us about paint protection film (PPF).

When can I wash my car after ceramic coating?

The coating needs time to fully cure, so avoid washing right after application. We go over aftercare at pickup, including when your first wash is safe and which products to use.

Is ceramic coating worth it compared to wax?

For most owners, yes. Wax lasts weeks; a ceramic coating lasts years. It gives deeper gloss, makes road salt, brine and grime wash off far more easily through Maryland winters, and helps preserve resale value.
